Testsigma says it is ushering in the era of Agentic AI with the launch of autonomous testing capabilities and a new Test Management suite. The platform, already known for its no-code test automation, is now expanding into AI-assisted manual testing and intelligent test cycle management, aiming to unify workflows and increase software delivery speed across teams.
A Unified Approach to Manual and Automated Testing
Until now, most testing tools have treated manual and automated QA as separate processes. Testsigma is moving to change that by enabling both testing modes to benefit from AI-driven agents.
At the center of this update is Atto, Testsigma’s AI coworker, which the company says can autonomously:
- Generate test cases from requirements, designs, code changes, or live apps
- Execute tests across browsers and devices
- Self-heal broken tests
- Analyze failures and provide actionable insights
By integrating directly with DevOps pipelines, Atto allows development teams to maintain high testing coverage while speeding up release cycles.
For manual testing teams, the newly launched Test Management product brings similar AI enhancements. Testsigma says the new system:
- Analyzes testing requirements
- Suggests and executes test cases
- Surfaces gaps
- Tracks progress and reports bugs
This removes the need for older test management systems, spreadsheets, or manual documentation workflows.
From Generating Code to Autonomous Decision-Making
According to Testsigma, this update moves beyond basic AI code generation by embedding agentic AI agents that can plan, execute, and make decisions autonomously. The company claims this approach improves productivity by eliminating repetitive tasks and freeing testers to focus on more strategic areas such as user understanding and system behavior.
Founder and CEO Rukmangada Kandyala stated, “We’re putting AI agents in the hands of every tester, not just automation engineers. Manual and automated testing are no longer separate silos.”
Industry Response: A “Turning Point” for QA
Andrew Haitz, QA Engineer at Galactic Advisors, called the announcement a major leap for the field: “This is the kind of leap QA has been waiting for. Testing speed is now non-negotiable, and autonomous execution capabilities are game-changing.”
Enterprise Adoption and Extensibility
Testsigma says its platform is already in use by companies like Nestlé, KFC, DHL, Samsung, and Cisco. The full platform supports:
- Web, mobile, desktop, and API testing
- Enterprise tools such as Salesforce and SAP
- Visual and accessibility testing
- 30+ integrations and custom extensions
At its core are two AI features: Testsigma Copilot and Atto, designed to provide complete agentic test coverage from planning to optimization.
