The V50 Lite 5G is clearly designed for those who want a slice of Vivo’s premium pie but without burning through their savings. Coming hot on the heels of the flagship Vivo V50 5G’s local debut (which goes for Kshs 69,999), this Lite version aims to strike the perfect balance between affordability and performance.

But let’s talk goodies first. Pre-ordering the V50 Lite 5G will earn you a Vivo backpack, 2-year warranty, 1-year screen replacement, and even a 5-year battery health guarantee. Not bad for a mid-ranger, huh?

Now for the specs—this isn’t just a watered-down version of the V50. Sure, there are differences, but the V50 Lite holds its own quite well. You get a 6.77-inch AMOLED display (1080p resolution) with 1800 nits peak brightness—plenty vibrant for outdoor use. While it skips HDR10+ and Vivo’s ultra-bright 4500-nit screen found on the V50, most users won’t even notice the absence.
