This build is hitting CAMON 30 devices in waves, depending on whether you already upgraded or are just getting Android 15 now.

But does this new update fix the earlier mess? Not quite.

Reddit has been buzzing with CAMON 30 users sharing their not-so-smooth experiences. From refresh rate issues where apps stubbornly refuse to go beyond 60Hz—even when set to 120Hz—to overheating and poor battery life, the complaints are stacking up. This wasn’t a problem on HiOS 14, but now most apps are capped at 60Hz.

Another user shared their frustration with audio bugs—volume buttons that randomly pause videos, speakers misbehaving, and sound disappearing mid-call when using pop-up chat features. And yes, some couldn’t even swipe down the notification panel unless the phone was locked.

And it’s not just performance bugs.
