If you’ve ever wondered exactly how much Jumia delivery costs in your part of Kenya and how long it’ll take for your package to arrive, the guessing game is finally over. Jumia Kenya has released a comprehensive breakdown of its delivery charges covering every region, every zone, and every package size.

From the middle of Nairobi to the far corners of Kisii, Wundanyi or Lodwar, the e-commerce giant now has a structured system that lets you know exactly how much you’ll pay and how long it’ll take based on your location and package size.

Let’s break it all down.

Delivery Charges: Affordable, Zone-Based, and Transparent

Jumia’s new system is built around six geographical zones, each grouping together specific towns and cities. Your delivery fee depends on two things:

  1. Where the order is coming from (usually Nairobi)
  2. Where it’s going (your location’s zone)

The cost also scales based on package size:

  • Small (40 x 20 x 13 cm): From KES 160
  • Medium (70 x 30 x 22 cm): From KES 250
  • Large (100 x 100 x 62 cm): From KES 700

Of course, these are base figures. The actual delivery fee will depend on where you are in Kenya and how far your order has to travel from Jumia’s warehouse. To simplify this, Jumia has grouped the country into six delivery zones.
