Infinix has officially introduced its AI-powered Infinix AI Buds (model XE37) to the Kenyan market, months after the earbuds launched alongside Infinix AI Ring. The earbuds are now selling locally through Infinix’s authorized partners at a recommended retail price of KES 8,999, but early buyers can find lower prices from third-party retailers.
The company is touting the buds as “the world’s first AI-powered smart earbuds with real-time translation,” a feature that supports up to 162 languages in conversation, live listening, and transcription modes.

Transparent touchscreen case & AI controls
One of the standout elements of the Infinix XE37 AI Buds is the transparent touchscreen charging case, which allows users to control music, volume, calls, and even translation features without touching their phone. The case also supports voice commands via Infinix’s AI assistant, Folax, using the wake phrase “Hi Folax.”

The buds feature an ergonomic in-ear design and weigh just 5g per earbud. They are rated IPX4 for splash resistance, making them suitable for workouts and light rain.
Active noise cancellation & clear calls
The earbuds come with hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC), offering up to 45dB of noise reduction. Infinix says this is optimized for commuters, public spaces, and call clarity. Dual microphones help isolate voice input during calls.

For audio output, the buds use 10mm dynamic drivers tuned for AI-enhanced sound, delivering boosted bass, mids, and treble. A dedicated Game Mode and customizable equalizer are also available.
Battery life & charging
The Infinix AI Buds promise up to:
- 36 hours of total playback with ANC off
- 25–28 hours with ANC enabled
Each earbud takes around 2 hours to fully charge, while the case recharges in about 2.5 hours via USB-C.
While Infinix Kenya has just begun official sales at KES 8,999, several online and offline third-party retailers such as Phone Place Kenya and Phones and Tablets Kenya are offering the buds at slightly lower prices.
The XE37 AI Buds are now available through Infinix’s official channels and third-party retailers nationwide, and they could appeal to users looking for AI-powered features without the premium price tag seen from big brands.
