Infinix NOTE 60 Ultra launched with a 7000mAh battery, 100W fast charging, and supercar design

Samsung Galaxy S26

Infinix is making a serious play for the premium flagship market. Unveiled yesterday at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in Barcelona, the Infinix NOTE 60 Ultra brings a wildly ambitious spec sheet to the table. Partnering with Italian design house Pininfarina, Infinix has delivered a device that not only packs a massive 7000mAh battery and multi-country satellite calling but also attempts to kill the modern camera bump.

Here is everything you need to know about Infinix’s boldest flagship yet.

Design and display: Killing the camera bump

The most striking thing about the NOTE 60 Ultra is what you don’t see: a protruding camera island. Co-developed with automotive legend Pininfarina, the phone features an Aluminum Unibody Design equipped with the world’s first Uni-Chassis Cam Module. Infinix used a single, continuous sheet of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus to seamlessly blend the lenses into the back panel, keeping the rear completely flat and aerodynamic.

Paying homage to its sports car inspiration, the phone also features a floating taillight signature that illuminates when powered on, alongside a hidden Active Matrix Display on the back for notifications and a pixel-style virtual companion.

Up front, the device sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and a blinding peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It’s also the first Infinix phone to support the XDR display standard.

Power and global satellite connectivity

Under the hood, the NOTE 60 Ultra isn’t powered by the touted Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. Instead, it runs on the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

However, the real headliners are battery and connectivity. Infinix managed to squeeze a massive 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery into the chassis. More impressively, it features a proprietary Battery Self-Healing Technology that claims to restore up to 1% of battery health every 200 charge cycles. When you do need to top up, it supports 100W wired charging (0 to 100% in just 48 minutes) and 50W wireless charging.

For off-the-grid adventurers, the NOTE 60 Ultra is billed as the first commercially available smartphone to introduce dual-way satellite calling with expansive global coverage across multiple countries. This allows for both two-way messaging and calling far beyond traditional cell towers.

200MP dual flagship cameras

Despite hiding the lenses, Infinix didn’t skimp on the optics. The triple-camera array is headlined by a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HPE main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It’s joined by a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 periscope telephoto lens (also with OIS) capable of 3.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, plus an 8MP 112-degree ultrawide lens. Selfies are handled by a 32MP front shooter.

Despite the insane zoom capabilities of the TECNO CAMON 50 Pro/Ultra, it clearly has nothing on the Infinix NOTE 60 Ultra. These two are from the same mother company, Transsion.

Software and availability

The NOTE 60 Ultra ships with Android 16 out of the box, skinned with Infinix’s new XOS 16 and its refreshed GlowSpace UI. Infinix is promising a solid update policy for this flagship: 3 years of major OS updates and 5 years of security patches. This matches the TECNO CAMON 50 series software update strategy.

The device will be available in four motorsport-inspired colours: Torino Black, Monza Red, Amalfi Blue, and Roma Silver. It arrives in a deluxe gift box featuring a Zinc Alloy MagCharge Base, a Kevlar MagPad and MagCase, and a Track-Edition SIM pin.
