Honor has named 50 phones and six tablets that will get the global MagicOS 11 update. They include the Honor 400 and 200 families, the X9d and X9c, and older flagships such as the Magic5 Pro. The update, which brings Honor’s version of Android 17, is scheduled to roll out between October 2026 and March 2027.
When we covered the Chinese rollout and its October sign-up dates earlier this month, those dates applied to phones running Honor’s Chinese software. Honor UK published the global eligibility list on 15th October 2026. There’s also a separate open beta programme, running from September to November 2026, for owners who want to test the software before the general release.
Honor hasn’t given any phone its own release month. So if you have an Honor 400, you know you’re getting the update, but you could be waiting until March. That’s a six-month window for the whole list, which doesn’t help much if you want to know when your particular phone will get it.
The full global MagicOS 11 list
Honor lists these devices for the official release between October 2026 and March 2027. All are Honor models, and names ending in Lite, Smart or 5G refer to separate phones.

Check your phone’s full name. Honor has listed the X6b 5G, so if yours is the X6b without the 5G suffix, this announcement doesn’t confirm an update for it. The same goes for the standard Magic6: the Magic6 Pro and Magic6 RSR are here, but that one isn’t. A missing name means Honor hasn’t confirmed it in this list. It doesn’t mean the company has ruled out updating it altogether.
There’s another detail in the footnote. This timetable covers open-market devices, sold independently of a carrier’s customised software. If you have a carrier version, your operator has to approve the update after testing it, so your phone may follow a different timetable even if its name is on the list.
Which phones can join the open beta?
The beta lets you try the update before the general release. These are the devices Honor has included for September to November 2026:
- Magic7, Magic V5 and Magic7 Lite.
- Honor 600, 600 Pro and 600 Lite.
- Honor 200 Pro, 200 Smart, 400 Pro and 400.
- Honor X9d, X8d, X7d, X7c, X7c 5G and X6b 5G.
- Honor X5c, X5c Plus, X5d and X5d Plus.
- MagicPad4 and MagicPad3 tablets.
You’ll need to check My Honor Club to see whether you can join. Honor is only offering the beta in selected countries, so having one of these phones doesn’t automatically give you access. In its reply to the announcement, Honor UK asks owners in this group to sign up and send feedback. You’re testing software that can still have bugs, so if you rely on your phone for work, we’d wait for the official release.
It’s good to have confirmation for phones like the X9d and the older Magic5 models. We’d still like Honor to put a month against each model and name the countries where owners can join the beta. For now, if your global phone is on the list, you can expect the update within Honor’s October to March window. How much longer you’ll actually wait is still unclear.
