I have only ever owned some affordable Sony headphones (twice) and the TECNO Boom Headphones. I love earphones more because they are not heavy and you can have them on in any setting without looking or feeling awkward.
Anyway, I had a voucher from Kilimall and decided to spend it on these headphones.
They were pretty cheap for Bluetooth headphones at Ksh. 1999. The voucher was Ksh. 1500. But getting this headphones also guaranteed you a free gift pack of some waterproof speaker that goes for Ksh. 1299. Good deal, went with it.
These headphones are good. They are comfortable. The ear padding is soft and nice. Doesn’t get uncomfortable, as many headphones on prolonged use.
The sound is good and clear. And the bass is real deep.
The buttons on one side, though they can’t be reached when listening to music as you won’t know what you are clicking, are a nice addition.
The button you can access mostly (or rather easily) is the phone button when receiving calls. That is a pretty dope feature. And the person on the other side of the call doesn’t feel any quality change. The microphone on the audio captures audio pretty well.
What I can’t get over is the lighting on one side of the headphones. They go on and off with the rhythm of the music. The louder the music, the more they light up.
The battery life is good. More than 5hrs on single use without the battery low notifications.
If you don’t want to use the bluetooth functionality to connect to a device, you can connect to the headphones via 3.5mm Audio cable (which is supposed to come with the device according to the listing). I didn’t find the audio cable. Someone must have opened it as I found my package already open on delivery.
What I didn’t seem to figure out is how to connect more than one device at the same time. Maybe it is not a feature.
For just 2000, this is pretty good. I have no complaints.
