Infinix Hot 5 and Hot 5 Lite Launching on August 28th

Just recently Infinix launched a new series called SMART that is meant to be their cheapest offering at less than Ksh. 8,000. Remember their Note series has also been updated with the Note 4 and the Note 4 Pro. But Infinix aren’t stopping there. The HOT series is getting updated. The new HOT 5 and HOT 5 Lite are coming soon.

The HOT 5 X559 is being touted as “My Mobile Cinema” and will feature dual front speakers with Dirac Stereo Widening technology that we first saw on the Infinix SMART. An exciting addition and distinction from many smartphones. How many phones have front facing speakers?

The front speakers will be the only major difference between the HOT 5 and HOT 4. The design language remains the same. But at the expected Ksh. 10,000, this will still be a very good deal. You will still get the back fingerprint scanner, 2GB RAM, 4000mAh battery, a 5.5 inch HD Display, and 8MP back camera with a 5MP front camera.

The HOT 5 Lite won’t cut down much. The only difference will be 1GB RAM and no fingerprint scanner. And will probably be a few shillings more than the Infinix SMART.

On 28th August both the HOT 5, HOT 5 Lite, and the Note 4 PRO will be going on sale on Jumia Kenya. Which one are you waiting for?
