The Infinix Note 70 Pro has surfaced in a leaked benchmark screenshot with processor details that complicate the earlier Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 claim. The image identifies the phone as Infinix X6766 and shows 1,145 points in the single-core test and 3,523 in the multi-core test, with an upload date of 27th October 2026.
Last month, we covered the certification paperwork and hardware listing for that same X6766 model. At the time, the processor’s identity was already uncertain. The new result gives us CPU clock speeds to examine, but it still doesn’t establish which Snapdragon chip Infinix will sell the phone with.
The circulated screenshot shows Geekbench 7.1.0, Android 17 and 7.19GB of detected memory, consistent with an 8GB RAM model. These are details from the leaked result, rather than confirmed specifications for the finished phone.
Geekbench tests processor performance using workloads modelled on applications. Its single-core score measures work on one CPU core, while the multi-core score measures work across multiple cores. The two scores describe different tests; adding them together would not give a meaningful overall score. For a buyer, they offer a way to compare tested CPU performance, provided the comparison uses the same benchmark version.
The clock speeds are the unresolved part
The screenshot names the processor as QTI SM7635 and lists eight CPU cores in three groups: four at 2.02GHz, three at 2.71GHz and one at 2.96GHz. GHz measures clock frequency, or how many cycles a processor can run each second. A higher frequency alone does not establish how much faster a phone will feel.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 product brief lists a different configuration: four efficiency cores up to 1.8GHz, three performance cores up to 2.4GHz and one prime core up to 2.7GHz. It also gives the part number as SM7635-AC. The frequencies in the leaked result exceed those published limits in every group.
That discrepancy leaves the chip’s identity open. Calling it Snapdragon 7s Gen 5 would require evidence beyond this screenshot.
The earlier hardware entry also lists a 7,000mAh battery for the NOTE 70 Pro, but it remains unofficial. The Kenyan Note 60 Pro had a 6,000mAh battery when we covered its launch in March.
For Note 60 Pro owners, the leak gives us a processor question worth following alongside the proposed battery increase. It does not yet make a case for upgrading. That judgement needs Infinix’s final specifications and Kenyan price, followed by tests on the phone buyers can buy.
