Expected Specs of Infinix Hot 6 PRO

For a while now, Infinix has been teasing their upcoming device called the Infinix Hot 6 PRO. It only make sense to infer from the naming that there’s a normal Hot 6 and a PRO version. So it should be correct to say Infinix will be launching two new phones. Anyway, the Infinix Hot 6 PRO is what we should be focused on.

The big thing about this particular launch is that it will be Infinix’s first device in Kenya this year. That means it will be Infinix’s first 18:9 aspect ratio phone in the market. And people are loving these tall display devices. So hype.

It seems the Hot S3 PRO won’t be making its way to Kenya anytime soon. So people will make do with this device:

Anyway, these are the expected specifications of Infinix Hot 6 PRO:

Display6 inches IPS LCD 720p resolution, 18:9 ratio
RAM and Storage2GB RAM/ 16GB Storage and 3GB RAM/32GB Storage
ProcessorQualcomm Snapdragon 425
CameraBACK Dual: 13MP + 2MP
BatteryNon-removable 4000mAh battery
Operating SystemRuns Android 8.0 Oreo
NetworkSupports 4G Networks

The screen resolution will be my main issue with the device if it launches with a 720p display. Also, the Snapdragon 425 only supports maximum on device display of 1280×800. So yeah.

The extra 2MP camera may not be doing much on the device except helping with refocus. I hope the portrait mode on this device will be impressive.

I am not sure if the version of Android the device comes running out of the box will be 8.0 or 8.1.

Pricing will definitely be between 10k and 16k. What are your thoughts?
