For their 2019 lineup, we’ve seen the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 an incredible phone and the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 which I have just recently reviewed. The Y6 Prime is meant to be the more affordable member of this lineup. It falls right between the Y5 Prime from 2018 and the new Y7 Prime.
It borrows the same design language as the Y7 including the DewDrop notch. The screen size is less than an inch smaller than the Y7, but the resolution is similar and would easily pass for the Y7 if not for the different colours offered.
I’ve used the Helio A22 chip on the Redmi 6A and on the Lava Z81 and I know it is a capable processor. I am looking forward to see how it performs on this device when I review the phone.
What are your thoughts on the phone? I am estimating the cost to be somewhere between Ksh. 12,000 and Ksh. 13,500. You?
