Samsung has announced the availability of two new devices in Kenya:
- Galaxy Tab S5e and
- Galaxy Watch Active
Sometime back, Samsung had announced that they would be bringing all their new accessories to the market, and that they would be more affordable compared to their last set of smart accessories. This year, Samsung is going all in on more affordable products, and they also promised all their new A-series phones would be compatible with their accessories.
Among the first of their accessories to now be available in the country is the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active which Samsung Kenya recommends a retail price of 24,999/-. The Watch Active has improved fitness and wellbeing features like Blood Pressure Monitoring with a smarter blood pressure tracker on your wrist, sleep tracking, everyday peace of mind management through a stress tracker, and easy fitness tracking by auto-detecting when you run, bike, row or start a dynamic workout. Users can also set daily fitness goals and actively monitor their progress across a wide range of indoor and outdoor exercise/activity types.
The Tab S5e on the other hand is one tab I’ve really wanted to put my hands on. It is meant to be a cheaper version of the yet to be released Tab S5. You know like with the Galaxy S10 series there’s three: Plus, Normal, and E-version. Which probably means economical. The S5e borrows the design language of the new iPad Pros and is very very thin, yet packs a very large 7000mAh+ battery. I am hoping to get my hands on one soon. If you want one, Samsung has set a recommended price of Ksh. 57,999.
