Samsung Announces Galaxy A10s with Dual Cameras, 4000mAh battery and Fingerprint Scanner

Samsung has announced the Galaxy A10s which is an upgrade to the Galaxy A10 announced early this year. The new updates make the A10s a pretty compelling purchase that will even rival the A20 which I still consider one of the best budget phones of 2019,

The 2019 A-series from Samsung was a big departure from previous A-series phones in terms of price versus specs. Samsung decided to launch a full attack on budget devices with the A10, A20, and A30 all ranging from KES. 10,000 to KES. 25,000. Which is a highly competitive segment in Kenya.

The Samsung Galaxy A10s mobile features a 6.2″ (15.75 cm) display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels and runs Android 9.0. The device is powered by Octa core (2 GHz, Quad core + 1.5 GHz, Quad core) processor paired with 2 GB of RAM. It has a 4000mAh. There’s now a dual camera setup: 13 MP + 2 MP camera.

Remember the normal Galaxy A10 didn’t have a fingerprint scanner, had a smaller battery, and a single rear camera.

I am estimating a price of KES. 14,000 which would make this a really good phone to buy. Samsung is really out to get the budget market, and I am happy finally. Between this device and the Galaxy A20, the A20 still wins for having an AMOLED Display, and USB type-C.
