Earlier in the year, I had a post on Infinix and TECNO preparing to launch their first devices with pop-up cameras. Well, the time is now. GSMArena has received an anonymous tip/leak showing what is believed to be the upcoming Infinix S5 PRO. This new device will join the Infinix S5 Series which includes the normal S5, and the S5 Lite.
Though full specs haven’t leaked, the display looks to be as tall as that on the normal S5 at 6.6 inches. The back has a 48MP rear camera. There are two extra lenses that are yet to be specified. Probably a wide-angle lens, and a telephoto one.
I think the phone will have the exact specs as the recently announced TECNO Camon 15 PRO. Because that’s what Transsion does. I had already said in the Camon 15 announcement we can expect an Infinix device with the same specs soon, and here’s proof.
In Kenya, the device may launch late March. I estimate a price of between KES. 17000 and KES. 20,000. I expect it to pack 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and either a 4000mAh or 5000mAh battery.
