Xiaomi Redmi NOTE 8 Pro and Mi A3 now receiving Android 10 Update

Xiaomi is continuing with its rollout of Android 10. The new devices receiving Android 10 are the NOTE 8 PRO and the Mi A3. What’s interesting is that the Mi A3, which is an Android ONE device, is only receiving Android 10 months later. As an Android ONE device, it should be among the first devices to get the update. Even a device like the Infinix NOTE 5 has already received Android 10.

Xiaomi had said the current Coronavirus situation in China affected rollout of Android 10 to the Mi A3. But a mid-February rollout is still pretty late for an Android ONE device. Nonetheless, it shouldn’t matter now, the 1.3GB update is here, and if you have a Mi A3, you’re about to enjoy Android 10 goodness.

The Redmi NOTE 8 Pro, which is one device you should definitely buy if you’re in the market for a mid-range device, is receiving a 2GB update. The update also features the February 2020 security patch. Now running Android 10, this is a device that will be very competitive especially given Xiaomi is about to launch a new NOTE series.

Check your phone for the updates if notification hasn’t popped up.
