The new Camon 16s comes in at a price where it is not only trying to bring in big numbers, but to also offer direct competition to existing smartphones in the market. The phone which is part of the Camon 16 Series is available countrywide starting at KES. 17,700 for 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. A full review will be coming later on as we have a review unit.

- The Galaxy A31 has 4GB RAM, with 64GB storage for the base model, while the Camon 16s comes with 4GB RAM, and 128GB storage as standard
- The Galaxy A31 features a 48MP main lens, plus an 8MP ultra-wide camera, plus a 5MP macro, and a 5MP depth sensor. Meanwhile the Camon 16s comes with a 48MP main lens plus three extra currently unspecified lenses.
- The Galaxy A31 comes with a 20MP selfie camera while the TECNO Camon 16s comes with an 8MP selfie camera
- The Galaxy A31 comes with a 1080p 6.4-inch AMOLED display, while the Camon 16s comes with a 720p 6.6-inch LCD display
- The Galaxy A31 features USB Type-C with a 5000mAh battery supporting 15W fast charging. While the TECNO Camon 16s sticks with micro-USB with a 5000mAh battery and 10W charging.
- The Galaxy A31 features an under-the-display fingerprint scanner while the Camon 16s sticks with the usual capacitive scanners at the back of the phone.
