Huawei devices discounted for Safaricom Open Day sales

The latest Safaricom Open Day promo is currently running until December 15th. As usual, there’s a ton of devices one can buy from different companies. If you’ve been looking for a Huawei device, the company has announced discounted prices for a relatively wide range of devices from phones to wearables.

There are two ways to get the devices; either online through, or through visiting a Safaricom Shop.

Here’s a list of the devices:

  1. Huawei Y9s – reduced from KES. 28,499 to KES. 22,999 – read more about the device here.
  2. Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 – This was a really loved device. Check out our review. It is now discounted from KES. 27,499 to KES. 19,399.
  3. Huawei Y5p – This one is now discounted to KES. 9,499 from KES. 11,799. It is the only device here without Google Play Services, so you need to take that into consideration before buying it.
  4. Huawei Watch GT2e – This smartwatch has been discounted from KES. 19,999 to KES. 17,999
  5. Huawei Watch GT2 (42 and 46mm models) – This is now KES. 22,499 from KES. 24,999
  6. Huawei Powerbanks – The 18W 20,000mAh model is KES. 4,399 while the 18W 10,000mAh model is KES. 2,999
  7. Huawei Freebuds 3 headphones – The price cut here is KES. 2,000, and you can now acquire them for KES. 17,999

The important thing to remember is Safaricom devices are Single SIMs, so you may want to get devices from other stores if the dual SIM option is very important to you. Unless otherwise stated, all the phones listed here will be single SIM devices.

Which device are you looking forward to buying?
