‘The Freestyle’ from Samsung is now available for KES 160,000

Samsung has announced ‘The Freestyle’ is finally available for purchase in Kenya. The recommended retail price has been set at KES 159,995. The pre-order period which begun in April is now over.

• It is also a smart speaker with Bixby AI

The Freestyle weighs only 700 grams. Unlike traditional projectors that are boxy, heavy and huge, The Freestyle allows rotation of up to 180 degrees enabling users to show video anywhere, including tables, floors, walls or even ceilings with no separate screen required.

It has a feature called “full auto keystone and auto focusing” which allows the device to automatically adjust its screen to any surface at any angle, providing a perfectly proportional image every time. 

The Freestyle is compatible with external batteries that support USB-PD and 50W/20V output or above, so users can take it with them anywhere, whether they are on the move, on a camping trip and more. 

When you’re not using it as a projector, you can use it to provide mood lighting, or as a smart speaker with visual effects on the wall or the floor, or anywhere. It also offers Smart TV features available on Samsung Smart TVs, with built-in streaming services and mirroring and casting features compatible with both Android and iOS mobile devices.
