Ahead of the August 9th General Elections in Kenya, the Presidential Debate will take place on July 26th 2022. You will be able to stream and watch live the debate from any of the local televisions, and online through their YouTube channels.
Kenya Presidential Election Debate 2022 Details:
- Time: 5pm to 10pm
- Where: Catholic University for Eastern Africa CUEA, Karen Nairobi
- Online Stream: Online YouTube Channels for Media Houses
- Broadcast: Live on 450 TV and Radio stations across the country
This will be the third presidential election debate ever held. According to the Presidential Debates Secretariat, this year, they’re hoping to reach 40 million Kenyans. This secretariat is a joint organ of the Media Owners Association, the Media Council of Kenya and the Kenya Editors’ Guild.
Before the Presidential Debate, there will be a debate for the Running Mates contending for position of Deputy President. This will be held on July 19th, on the same venue. You’ll also be able to stream the debate online through the media houses YouTube platforms.
