Vivo Y22 launched with 50MP Camera for KES 19,999

Vivo has a new addition to their Y-series. The company says the Vivo Y22 brings a modern design and beautiful aesthetic, trendy new colours, clear photography and powerful performance to provide consumers with a thrilling entertainment experience.

The device is available in the Kenyan market for KES 19,999 offering 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. You can pick it up in two colours: Metaverse Green and Starlit Blue. (In Tanzania, the phone costs TSh 379,000)

Metaverse Green is a distinct and unique new color which has diamond patterns and a distinctive metallic sheen to make the device stand out from the rest. The phone has a 2.5D curvature body with a new CMF (Color, Materials & Finish) design, while the back has an anti-fingerprint matte material.

The phone has a 50MP rear camera which the company explains will give consumers the ability to take high-quality images, to ensure that they capture those moments of enjoyment with friends and family.

Vivo says the device is a gamers’ delight as it offers the best-in-class gaming performance and experience, through the updated 6.55HD screen display and the Helio G85 processor.

The Vivo Y22 has a 5000mAh battery for a long standby time with 18W fast charge and runs on the Funtouch 12 OS which is built on Android 12.

The phone also has official IP5X rating for dust resistance and IPX4 rating for resistance to water splashes from any direction.
