Africa Tech Summit (ATS) London, the leading technology conference promoting business and investment across the African continent, is hosting its seventh London edition on June 23rd, live at the London Stock Exchange.
The Summit will bring together 300 industry leaders from across Africa to meet with international investors, corporates, and ventures to conduct business, following a sold-out edition in 2022.
According to The Big Deal Report 2023, African tech startups raised $1.3 billion in the first quarter of 2023, including exits, representing a 29% year-on-year decrease and a 52% decline excluding exits, underlining the headwinds the ecosystem faces.
Africa Tech Summit has been consistently connecting African tech ventures with global investors, and this year’s Venture Track will feature an Investment Showcase, along with one-to-one investor meetings, to further drive investment and collaboration. The track will offer insights across a variety of sectors, while also highlighting innovators tackling a range of issues, such as climate and food security. The Money and DeFi track will bring together fintech, Web3, and crypto leaders while exploring investment and business opportunities from across the continent.
