Infinix has launched its latest series, the HOT 40 series, in Kenya. This new line-up includes the HOT 40 Pro, HOT 40, and HOT 40i. Infinix says the series is tailored to provide gamers with varying budgets an enhanced mobile gaming experience. Each model in the series features upgrades in key areas such as processor performance, display quality, camera capabilities, and software, while continuing to lead in fast charging technology.
The HOT 40 series comes a few months since the HOT 30 series, described by Summer Yao, the HOT Series Product Director at Infinix, combines high-quality performance with an aesthetically pleasing design. The series aims to deliver advanced technology and practicality at a reasonable price.
A standout feature of the HOT 40 Pro is its 5000mAh battery, integrated with the Power Marathon solution and Ultra Power Saving mode. This mode enables up to 2 hours of calling time with just 5% battery power. The device also includes a 33W Enduring FastCharge technology with real-time temperature monitoring, allowing the battery to charge from 20% to 75% in 35 minutes, and extending battery life for up to four years.
For gaming enthusiasts, the HOT 40 Pro is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core 6nm gaming processor and boasts a 1200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate. This feature, along with the Hard-Gyroscope sensor and Infinix’s XBOOST Gaming Engine, provides an immersive gaming experience with customizable settings.
The device also features a 120Hz FHD+ screen for a smooth visual experience. The HOT 40 series introduces the Magic Ring feature, which provides notifications for face lock status, charging status, and voice calls. It also offers up to 16GB of expandable memory, enabling faster loading times and the ability to have up to 18 applications open simultaneously.
The HOT 40 Pro stands out in photography with a 108MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 32MP AI-enhanced front camera. It offers various modes for different occasions, enhancing both photography and videography experiences. The series also boasts an eye-catching design with a sparkling crystal layer against a starry texture, available in multiple colors, including the new Starfall Green.
The HOT 40 series is priced differently for each model, with the HOT 40i starting at KES 17,299 and the HOT 40 Pro at KES 28,399. Prices will vary among retailers.
