The OPPO Reno 11 Series is Launching in Kenya Soon

OPPO is bringing the Reno 11 Series to Kenya, set to launch on 25th January 2024, just in time to celebrate the brand’s 10th anniversary. This time, OPPO is not only introducing a new smartphone lineup but also showcasing the latest advancements in its operating system with ColorOS 14. The OPPO Reno 11 Series follows up on the Reno 10 series from 4 months ago, promising to redefine mobile technology with groundbreaking improvements in imaging technology, battery life, and design, ensuring an exciting user experience that’s both efficient and performance-driven.

Marking a decade of innovation, OPPO says the new ColorOS 14 is engineered to complement the Reno 11 Series’ capabilities, aimed at delivering unmatched efficiency. The Reno 11 Series stands out with a claimed state-of-the-art Ultra-Clear Portrait Camera System. This includes a high-resolution, all-purpose main camera, a leading portrait camera, and 4K Ultra-Clear Video capture to bring professional-quality photography to users’ fingertips. With a 32MP telephoto camera and a 47mm equivalent focal length providing 2x telephoto zoom, the Reno 11 Series is designed to produce studio-quality portrait photography that closely mimics the human eye’s natural perspective.

OPPO says you can expect an outstanding, versatile camera experience with the Reno 11’s 50MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Additionally, an ultra-wide 8MP camera with a 112º field of view makes capturing expansive landscapes a breeze, ensuring that users can seize every moment in breathtaking detail.

Boosting efficiency is a cornerstone of the new ColorOS 14, with AI-powered smart features at the forefront of OPPO’s approach to enhancing user interaction. A notable feature is the AI-powered Smart Touch, which allows users to effortlessly select content from both the system and third-party apps, organizing it efficiently on the File Dock. The Smart Sidebar’s new File Dock enables easy sharing of content across apps through intuitive gestures, split-screen, and floating windows.

ColorOS 14 also introduces Smart Image Matting, a tool that allows users to crop subjects from images or videos and edit them for sharing or personalization purposes, such as creating custom wallpapers or posters.

The Ultra-smooth performance is a given with the upgraded Trinity Engine integrated into ColorOS 14, designed to boost the smartphone’s smoothness and stability. This engine optimizes computing resources, memory, and storage through ROM Vitalization, RAM Vitalization, and CPU Vitalization. The Reno11 Pro, equipped with ROM Vitalization, saves up to 45GB of storage space. RAM Vitalization keeps up to 27 apps running in the background for an extended period, and CPU Vitalization adapts to usage habits for a seamless experience. OPPO’s 48-Month Fluency Protection ensures the Reno11 series remains at peak performance for the long haul.

Fredrique Achieng, PR Manager at OPPO Kenya, stated, “After years of R&D upgrades and positive feedback from millions of users, ColorOS has reached a certain level of maturity today and is serving more than 600 million monthly active users worldwide. With developments like Aquamorphic Design and AI-powered smart features focused on privacy and security in the latest ColorOS 14, we’re confident users will enjoy a new and efficient operating system.”
