TECNO has launched the Phantom V Fold 2, a book-style foldable smartphone that follows their original foldable device in the same book-style design. The device sports a 7.85-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its cover display stands at 6.42 inches, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The foldable is very thin, measuring just 6.1mm when unfolded and weighing 249 grams, making it one of the lightest foldables in its class.
Under the hood, the Phantom V Fold 2 is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 9000+ chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device runs on Android 14 with HiOS 14 Fold and promises just two major Android updates. A standout feature is the triple 50 MP camera setup, which includes wide, telephoto, and ultrawide lenses, ensuring top-quality photography and videography. The phone also includes dual 32 MP selfie cameras, one on the cover display and another on the inner screen, making it perfect for capturing sharp selfies from both angles.
Battery life is another highlight of the Phantom V FOLD 2, with the 5,750 mAh battery supporting 70W wired fast charging, delivering 50% charge in just 20 minutes, and 15W wireless charging. The device also supports the newly launched Phantom V Pen, offering additional functionality for those who prefer stylus input. The Phantom V Fold 2 is also equipped with stereo speakers, 24-bit Hi-Res audio, and support for NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi 6e, and Bluetooth 5.3.
