Googleβs push to make Android 17 its most ambitious cross-device and large-screen OS is charging forward. Following the major announcements at Google I/O 2026, the beta program continues to expand its footprint. Google has officially rolled out Android 17 Beta 4.1, delivering a fresh wave of crucial bug fixes and officially opening the doors to a growing list of third-party partner devices.
If youβve been itching to test drive the next generation of Android before its stable release, the list of supported hardware just got a lot more interesting. Here is everything you need to know about Android 17 Beta 4.1 and the devices currently eligible for the program.
Whatβs fixed in Android 17 Beta 4.1?
Beta 4.1 (build CP21.260330.011) is primarily a squash-and-polish release aimed at resolving connectivity, display, and audio hiccups. Top fixes include:
- Network & UI: Patched an annoying bug where the status bar displayed zero signal despite an active connection. The update also fixes a sync issue where the mobile data Quick Settings icon stayed lit while in Airplane mode.
- Display: External displays should no longer black out when users select high resolutions.
- Audio & Bluetooth: Fixed an audio routing issue that muted playback after system interruptions (like a timer going off), alongside a patch for hearing aids automatically unpairing after periods of inactivity or charging.
As always, Googleβs own lineup gets first dibs. If you are already enrolled in the Android Beta program, the OTA update will hit your device automatically. The eligible roster is massive, spanning five generations of Pixel hardware:
- Pixel 10 Series: Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, 10 Pro Fold, 10a
- Pixel 9 Series: Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, 9 Pro Fold, 9a
- Pixel 8 Series: Pixel 8, 8 Pro, 8a
- Pixel 7 Series: Pixel 7, 7 Pro, 7a
- Pixel 6 Series: Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a
- Tablets & Foldables: Pixel Fold, Pixel Tablet series
Non-Google partner devices now in Android 17 Beta
The biggest news for Android enthusiasts is the inclusion of third-party OEMs. Nine partners are currently offering Android 17 Beta builds for select flagship and premium devices. Unlike the seamless Pixel OTA process, getting the beta on a partner device usually involves visiting the specific manufacturer’s site to download and flash a system image (though some partners may offer OTA delivery).

Ready to test?
As a rule of thumb for beta software, we don’t recommend installing this on your daily driver unless you are comfortable navigating potential bugs and data wipes.
If you do take the plunge, remember that each OEM provides its own dedicated feedback channel for reporting bugs found on their specific hardware. For Pixel users, feedback should be routed through the built-in Android Beta Feedback app.
