Insights At a Glance:

  • Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ is now available for pre-order in Nigeria, shipping starts July 14.
  • The phone features a Helio G200 chip, ultra-slim 5.95mm design, 144Hz 3D-Curved AMOLED display, and 45W fast charging.

The Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ has officially entered the chat — at least if you’re in Nigeria. The phone is now available for pre-order in the West African country from July 8 to July 13, with nationwide shipping kicking off on July 14. Meanwhile, in Kenya, all’s quiet on the Infinix front when it comes to this particular model.

If you’ve been keeping up, you might recall we first highlighted the arrival of the HOT 60 Pro+ last month when it was being hyped as the “world’s thinnest smartphone” — Infinix sure knows how to start a conversation. But at the time, hard specs and full design details were under wraps. Fast forward to now, and thanks to Nigeria’s early release, we’ve got the full scoop.

So, what’s the HOT 60 Pro+ packing?

While the official Infinix Kenya channels are still basking in the launch glow of the HOT 60i (which just began its pre-order journey here), Nigeria’s XPARK already has a new page up for the HOT 60 Pro+. Customers there can pick between two variants:

  • 128GB storage with 8GB RAM
  • 256GB storage with 8GB RAM

Both configurations are powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 chipset — the same silicon found inside the TECNO Spark 40 Pro+. (We see you, Transsion, with your strategic overlap.)

In fact, side-by-side, the HOT 60 Pro+ and the Spark 40 Pro+ are practically cousins:

  • Same chipset
  • Similarly slim builds
  • Same parent company (Transsion Holdings)
  • Both are pushing hard on sleek aesthetics and everyday performance.

To sweeten the deal for early adopters in Nigeria, Infinix is throwing in free XE33 earbuds (worth ₦9,200 and going for KES 1,499 in Kenya) and a ₦5,000 (about KES 425) discount for pre-orders.

Meanwhile in Kenya…

Kenya’s XPARK still shows no sign of the HOT 60 Pro+. Infinix Kenya is currently busy with the HOT 60i rollout — a more entry-level offering that launched just days ago. The current “Pro+” king on the XPARK shelves remains the HOT 50 Pro+, which is selling at KES 21,999. But let’s be honest, that’s old news for anyone eyeing the new Helio G200 beast.

What’s even more intriguing is the timing: TECNO has just kicked off pre-orders for the Spark 40 Pro and Spark 40 Pro+ in Kenya — running from July 10 to July 20. So why the radio silence from Infinix Kenya? Could they be strategically staggering launches to avoid in-house competition, or are we in for a surprise drop?

The HOT 60 Pro+ looks like a solid midrange contender, especially with its lean design and punchy specs. For fans who want something a little more premium than the HOT 60i — but who aren’t ready to stretch to the Note series — this feels like a sweet spot.

But as it stands, Kenyan buyers will have to wait… and wait… and hope that Infinix eventually drops the HOT 60 Pro+ locally. Until then, we’ll be refreshing XPARK daily and keeping our ears to the ground.

Stay tuned, because as soon as the HOT 60 Pro+ hits Kenya, you know we’ll be the first to spill the tea.
