The Infinix Hot S which I’ve written about so many times on this blog – in futility since it never launched in Kenya – is launching soon in Kenya. Somewhere between end August and early September.
It will be found only through Safaricom shops. Which makes me think it will be a little pricier in Kenya than it is in Nigeria.
The device which was the company’s first phone with a fingerprint scanner is not only beautifully designed, it is also affordable and well spec’d.
The specs are as so:
- 5.2-inch FHD display
- 2GB RAM/16GB Internal storage or 3GB RAM/32GB Internal
- 64-bit 1.5GHz processor
- All-metal body
- 8MP front camera
- 13MP camera at the back
- 3,000mAh battery
- Fingerprint scanner at the back
- 4G/LTE capability with single sim card
Infinix has also recently launched the Infinix Note 3 in Kenya which will be selling at Ksh. 15000 with an 18k 4G variant.
The company’s flagship Zero 3 is currently retailing at Ksh. 17900. Which means the new Infinix Hot S won’t cost more than 20k at start.
So to everyone who was eagerly awaiting the beautiful Hot S, your time is nigh.
