Finally!
I have been meaning to share this for a long time. And it always takes time when you are planning. It is better sometimes to just go with it instead of hours wasted thinking over something.
Here I have a list of some of the best (in terms of specs) 6.0″ phones you can get in Kenya. And not just that.
The ones on this list are all below 15k.
So if you’re looking for a big affordable phone, or know anyone, this is just the list for you.
All are 6.0 inch devices and all have 16GB internal storage except where otherwise stated.
InnJoo Max 3:
You can read more about it here. It has a 720p display, 2GB RAM, 4000mAh battery, 13MP back camera and runs on Android 5.1 that’s being upgraded to 6.0.
It has a fingerprint scanner at the back. It costs only Ksh. 11,900 on Jumia.
And you get a free flipcover and screen protector. Get it from Jumia now.
Infinix Note 3:
This is a hot device. And here’s my full review. It has a 1080p display. It has a 4500mAh battery, 2GB RAM for the normal version. 3GB RAM for the LTE version. It runs Android 6.0. It has a 13MP back camera and a 5MP front camera.
It supports fast charging. It also has a incredibly fast fingerprint scanner at the back.
It is only Ksh. 14,499 on Jumia. So buy it right now.
X-Tigi Vision6:
This one tries to give you a VR kit at a cheap price. It has a 720p display, 2GB RAM, 13MP back camera, 5MP front camera and a 4100mAh battery.
It comes running Android 5.1. There’s no fingerprint scanner, but the VR kit, though not comparable to high end ones that cost about the same price as the phone, is something to love about the device.
It goes for Ksh. 10,999 on Jumia. Buy it right now.
Lenovo Note 8:
It has 2GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 13MP back camera, 5MP front camera. It supports 4G networks too. Battery capacity is 3300mAh. Major issue is that it runs Android 4.4 Kitkat. You can get it from Avechi.com for Ksh. 14,999 right now.
UHappy UP580:
This will be shipped to you by Kilimall.co.ke. It costs only Ksh. 9134. It has a 540×960 display resolution, 8MP back camera and 5MP front camera. It runs Android 5.1. It has 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage.
HOTWAV Cosmos V4:
This is last because it is unbelievable. It is also shipped by Kilimall.co.ke. And makes one really doubt the deal. For only Ksh. 6,499 you get a 720p display, 2GB RAM, 2MP front camera, 5MP back camera, Android 5.1 Lollipop, 4G/LTE network support all packed in a brilliant metallic design. I don’t want to make conclusions but I have my doubts. Unless any of you have used a HOTWAV cheap phone…
Finally:
If you want a big phone, you’re now sorted. It is really nice how cheap phones are getting better!
Know any phone I haven’t included? Share with me in the comment sections and it’ll be added ASAP.
