TECNO Spark 4 and Spark 4 Air Start Selling in Kenya

The awaited upgrade to the Spark 3 and Spark 3 Pro are here. And with this version, TECNO is calling the two new devices Spark 4 and Spark 4 Air.

The Spark 4 starts at KES. 11,999 and is now available countrywide according to official information from the company.

The Spark 4 Air will be available later on for a lesser price, with the only major spec differences being in display size, rear cameras, and battery size. We expect the Spark 4 Air to cost less than KES. 10,000.

The Spark 3 Pro remains for me, one of the best budget devices of 2019. I don’t know if the Spark 4 can live up to that name, and that’s something only a full review can tell us. With the unchanged processor, and with RAM remaining the same, I don’t think anyone who bought the Spark 3 PRO is missing out on anything. However, if you have a Spark 2, or the original Spark, this could be your chance to upgrade.

The Spark 4 Air will be the best upgrade for someone with the original Spark. Or even for someone picking up their first phone, or someone who just want a good budget device at that price range. I am happy, there’s no talk of Android Go. And I am hopeful the 2GB RAM will be sufficient for social media use, cameras, and normal browsing.
