Huawei is launching a new phone for the Kenyan market. This is the Huawei Y6s which was first announced in January 2020. You can expect a full review of the device on this site once it becomes available. That review should help you when making the decision on whether to buy the device.
The device is an upgrade to last year’s Huawei Y6 Prime which featured the fake leather design that very many people loved. It keeps most of the same things as last year’s phone only now you get a more powerful processor, more RAM, and an updated design. Sadly though, the amber brown color model – that brought the fake leather look – won’t be available with the Y6s.
Huawei has continued to find ways to circumvent the Google Ban, and you can expect all Google Apps to work on this device, plus assured security patches. Since most of the new phones from Huawei have received EMUI 10 update that brings Android 10, fingers-crossed this one will too.
