itel has announced that the A58 is now available in the country. The new phone succeeds the itel A56 which was launched in 2020.
Display:
The phone comes with a 6.6 inch Waterdrop screen. The notch houses the front camera. The display has a resolution of 1612x720p. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9.
The itel A58’s display is an upgrade to the 6-inch 480p panel that came with itel A56. You now have more screen estate, and better resolution which makes consuming media easier.
Cameras:
The phone features a dual camera setup at the back. The main camera is a 5MP shooter. The secondary camera is an AI Depth sensor to help with portrait shots. There’s an LED flash to aid with shots in low light.
At the front, there’s a 5MP camera for selifes.
Software and Chipset:
The phone comes with Android 11 (Go Edition) out of the box.
It is powered by the UNISOC SC77331IE chipset which is a 1.3 Quad Core processor paired with a Mali T820 MP1 GPU.
You get 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. And you can expand internal storage with a microSD card up to 64GB.
Battery:
The itel A58 is powered by a 4000mAh battery. The included charger is 5V 1A. itel says the phone can last up to 10 days on light usage. Which is plausible.
