Flagship Killer: TECNO Camon 30 Premier 5G

The TECNO Camon 30 Premier 5G is gearing up to be a significant smartphone in TECNO’s history, especially the Camon series. It is a significant upgrade from the Camon 20 Premier. Imaging Prowess:

TECNO Camon 30 Series Goes Live: All the Details Here!

The Camon 30 Premier 5G stands out with its PolarAce Imaging System, a first for the brand. Built around a dedicated Sony ISP, this system delivers unparalleled power efficiency and enables features like full-scene AI noise reduction for HDR videos and superb 4K Ultra Night Vision video capture. It also empowers creative portrait enhancements, such as virtual outfit changes and an AI One-Click Eraser for seamless editing.

Every Camon 30 Premier 5G lens is 50MP:

TECNO has equipped the Premier 5G with a truly outstanding camera setup. The design is such that the rear camera setup resembles a Zoom Ring. At the top of the back, there’s an LED light called “Action Dot” for notifications.

  • The Primary Camera is the 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor (1/1.56”, 1.0µm pixels) with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS)
  • There’s a 70mm periscope camera with a 50MP sensor offering up to 60x hybrid zoom, portrait capabilities, and even macro shots. Which is crazy, and I’d love to very much test this out.
  • There’s a 50MP ultra-wide camera
  • And for selfies, the front camera is also 50MP with autofocus

Stunning Display:

You’ll enjoy an immersive viewing experience on the Premier’s 6.77-inch OLED display. This LTPO panel, a first for a non-foldable TECNO phone, delivers a peak brightness of 1,400 nits and silky-smooth visuals.

Powerful Performance:

Under the hood, the Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset and Android 14 deliver a snappy user experience. You’ll have plenty of space to work with thanks to up to 12GB of RAM (with virtual RAM extension) and up to 512GB of storage. The 5,000mAh battery and 70W fast charging ensure quick top-ups and sustained performance, just like we had said from earlier leaks.

The Rest of the Camon 30 Lineup:

The TECNO Camon 30 Series has something for everyone. Here’s a look at the other models:

  • Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G: This model shares many of the Premier’s impressive specs, including the Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset, 50MP primary and ultrawide cameras, and 50MP autofocus selfie camera. It boasts a 6.78-inch 144Hz display and a 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging.
  • Tecno Camon 30 5G: Powered by the Dimensity 7020, this phone offers a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It retains the excellent 50MP autofocus selfie camera and a 50MP main rear camera with OIS. You’ll enjoy the benefits of a 5,000mAh battery and 70W fast charging.
  • Tecno Camon 30 4G: Essentially a 4G version of the Camon 30 5G, this variant sports the Helio G99 chipset. It shares the same impressive display, battery, camera setup, and fast-charging capabilities as its 5G counterpart. Interestingly, this model comes with NFC.

Style Options and More

All three models offer a choice between a glass back or vegan leather back for a customizable look. Plus, they boast convenient features like stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, IR blasters, and even FM radio receivers.

A Powerful Lineup for Photography Enthusiasts

TECNO has crafted a compelling smartphone series with the Camon 30. From the photography-centric Premier model to its capable siblings, this lineup promises outstanding imaging performance and a user-friendly experience.
