TECNO Camon 30 to feature 70W Fast Charge, 100MP Shooter

TECNO, the largest subsidiary of Transsion, has made significant strides in the global smartphone market. By the last quarter of 2023, Transsion emerged as the world’s fourth-largest seller of smartphones, a testament to its growing popularity and market penetration. This success can be attributed to the company’s strategy of providing feature-rich phones at competitive prices, particularly appealing to emerging markets. (Market Share Source: Canalys Research)

TECNO Camon 30 Cameras:

Following the success of the Camon 20 series, TECNO is set to unveil its latest offering, the TECNO Camon 30, sometime in 2024. The Camon 30 is not just a successor to its predecessor but represents a significant leap in technological advancement, primarily in the camera and charging capabilities.

The highlight of the TECNO Camon 30 is its camera setup. The phone boasts a 100MP camera, which we hope won’t be the ultra-wide angle camera like on the Camon 20. This high-resolution camera is expected to offer new levels of clarity and detail. Additionally, a 50MP portrait camera is included, promising professional-grade portrait photography with exceptional depth and detail. We expect this will be an upgrade to the similar 50MP shooter on the Camon 20 series.

Fast Charging

Another standout feature of the TECNO Camon 30 is the 70W Ultra Charge technology, a big upgrade from the 45W Charger on the Camon 20 Series. This fast-charging capability ensures that the phone can be charged rapidly, significantly reducing downtime and enhancing user convenience. This feature is especially beneficial for users with heavy usage patterns, ensuring that their device is always ready to go.

Rumored TECNO Camon 30 Specifications: Power and Performance

While not officially confirmed, the TECNO Camon 30 is rumored to come with impressive specifications that cater to the needs of modern smartphone users:

  1. RAM and Storage: The device is expected to have 12GB of RAM and a generous 512GB of internal storage. This combination promises smooth multitasking and ample space for apps, media, and documents.
  2. Battery Life: A robust 5000mAh battery is anticipated, which should provide users with extended usage times, catering to both heavy and moderate users.
  3. Processor: Under the hood, the Camon 30 is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek 8200 processor.
  4. Design Evolution: The Camon 30 is also expected to feature improvements on the design front, building upon the aesthetics of the Camon 20 series. While specifics are not available, consumers can expect a sleek and modern design that aligns with current trends.

With its advanced camera features, fast charging, and powerful specifications, the Camon 30 is poised to further cement TECNO’s position in the global smartphone market. With the upcoming launch a couple of things people will be asking is software support. Following Google’s promise to support the Pixels for 7 years, it is imperative that all Android makers do the same. Transsion devices are notoriously late at getting new versions of Android. Will that change this year?
