A fresh leak has revealed what appears to be the very first One UI 9 Beta build for the Galaxy S25 series, marking another important milestone ahead of Samsung’s public beta rollout. The discovery comes just days after we got our first real glimpse of One UI 9 running on a Galaxy S25, complete with Samsung’s new My FanCam feature that uses Galaxy AI to intelligently reframe subjects in recorded videos.

The latest leak, shared by the same source (Fahad Ali Javed) behind last week’s hands-on screenshots, shows the build number S938NKSUBDZG8, which is for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Currently, the latest Android 16-based build number for the S25 is CZG3. But more importantly, the leaked build has seemingly been verified by Samsung’s servers, suggesting it’s a genuine internal firmware rather than a fabricated version.

While the firmware itself remains encrypted and inaccessible, simply seeing it appear on Samsung’s servers is a strong sign that development has reached the beta stage.

For those who’ve been following Samsung’s progress, this isn’t exactly a surprise. Back in June, Samsung quietly kicked off internal testing of One UI 9 on the Galaxy S25 series much earlier than many expected. That early start hinted the company wanted to speed up development, and today’s leak suggests that strategy is paying off.

The timing also makes perfect sense. The stable One UI 9 has now officially debuted alongside the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8, making the Galaxy S25 lineup the next obvious candidate for Samsung’s beta program before the wider rollout to older Galaxy devices begins.
