Samsung’s Connected Living roadshow ends at Sarit Mall this weekend

Samsung’s Connected Living roadshow finishes at Sarit Mall in Nairobi from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th October 2026. It is the third and last stop, after the Junction Mall (28th to 30th August) and The Galleria Mall (4th to 6th September). Samsung says the aim is to keep people talking about Connected Living and to bring shoppers into Sarit. The weekend also comes just as Samsung Service Month starts, an October campaign to make more people aware of Samsung’s repair and support services.

What is on at Sarit

Connected Living is a walk-in mock home. At Sarit it is cut into a living room, a kitchen and a laundry room, and Galaxy phones, Samsung TVs and Samsung appliances run together through SmartThings. SmartThings is Samsung’s smart home app. You install it on your phone, sign in with a Samsung account, and it controls every connected device in the house from one place. It had more than 430 million users as of December 2025.

The features on the floor are 3D Map View, Quick Remote, remote appliance control, Laundry Recipe, Auto Diagnostics and AI Energy Mode. We explained what each one does. That piece also covers what Samsung’s energy-saving claim is based on.

The Samsung Experience Stores at Sarit Mall have offers of their own over the weekend. At the Junction Mall, the discounts came through retail partners: up to 60% off selected appliances at Azone Outlet, up to 25% at Carrefour and up to 10% off Samsung phones at Quick Plug.

What Samsung Service Month is

Samsung Service Month is a campaign for Samsung’s repair and support services, and it starts in October. Samsung has not published the 2026 terms.

The 2025 edition is the only guide we have. It ran from 1st to 31st October 2025 and was extended to 14th November. Samsung’s terms gave 50% off listed spare parts and free labour on 28 phones and tablets, mostly older Galaxy A-series models, plus a Galaxy S22 Ultra, S23 Ultra, S23+, S24, S24+ and Z Flip4. You carried the device to an authorised service centre for diagnosis. One 50-inch TV model was covered, with the repair done at your home. Samsung also cleaned washing machines for free in Nairobi and Mombasa.

The rules were tight. You had to be 18 or older, register with your ID number, and take only one discounted repair per product type. The offer ran first come, first served, and authorised service centres are independently owned, so prices differed between them. If Samsung repeats the format, expect similar limits.

How Samsung’s service works today

Samsung’s warranty covers manufacturing faults free for 24 months on phones and tablets, and on fridges and washing machines bought from 1st April 2026. It doesn’t cover damage from a drop. For that, Samsung Care+ replaces one cracked screen for a fixed fee, KES 3,139 to KES 15,693 depending on the phone, if you register within 30 days of buying it.

Phones go to an authorised service centre, either carried in or collected through Samsung’s pick-up service. Appliances are repaired at home. Bookings go through Samsung Kenya’s toll-free line, 0800 545 545. Samsung also runs free Remote Support in Kenya on 0800 724 000. A technician gives you a six-digit PIN and can then help with account setup, software updates and email from their end. The Samsung Members app on Galaxy phones has a built-in diagnostics tool that tests the battery, touchscreen and camera, among others.

There is a service point close to the mall too. Hotpoint Appliances’ branch at Sarit Centre was on last year’s list of authorised centres for TVs and washing machines. Samsung has not published this year’s list.

What to do

If you go to Sarit this weekend, the Connected Living stand is the demo and the Samsung Experience Stores are where the offers are. For Service Month, wait for Samsung to post the 2026 terms on its support page before you take a device to a service centre. Last year you had to register first.
