vivo will launch the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max in Europe on Tuesday 27th October 2026. The event starts at 16:00 Central European Time. Pre-orders open the same day on vivo’s European online store. Sales start on Thursday 5th November.
Both phones went on sale in China on 21st September. They’re the top of vivo’s X500 series, flagship phones with cameras co-engineered with the German lens maker ZEISS. vivo’s European launch poster names only the X500 Pro and the X500 Pro Max, so the cheaper standard X500 doesn’t appear to be part of this launch.
When we covered the China launch on 22nd September, we wrote that vivo hadn’t announced international models, prices or dates. We missed that vivo’s European store had already announced this event. vivo still hasn’t given European prices, storage versions or battery sizes. Those should come on 27th October, when pre-orders open.
The voucher, and what Europeans might pay
vivo’s European store sells to Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Anyone there who registers on the event page gets a voucher worth EUR 120, or about KES 17,400, on pre-orders placed between 27th October and 4th November. From 5th to 30th November it drops to EUR 80, about KES 11,600. It works only on vivo’s own website, and only on X500 phones.
For a sense of what Europeans might pay, the X300 Pro launched there on 30th October 2025 at EUR 1,399 with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The same store has it on sale today for EUR 1,099.
The X500 phones start higher than the X300 Pro did. At launch, the X500 Pro started at about USD 970 and the X500 Pro Max about USD 1,045, both with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Memory is a big part of that, as we explained on launch day: the RAM and storage inside a flagship cost several times what they did a year ago.

The European battery may be smaller
Last year Europe got a smaller battery. vivo’s European store lists the X300 Pro at 5,440mAh. vivo Kenya’s spec page lists 6,510mAh, the same as the phone first sold in China. So the battery vivo gives on 27th October may not match the 6,510mAh and 8,000mAh in the launch models. If you’re importing a European unit, check the battery on its spec sheet before you pay.
What about Kenya?
vivo hasn’t announced the X500 phones for Kenya.
Last year’s route is the only guide. The X300 Pro reached Europe on 30th October 2025, India on 2nd December and Kenya on 19th December, at KES 169,999. That was 50 days after Europe and 17 days after India. If vivo kept those gaps, Kenya would get the X500 phones in mid-December.
The European price won’t convert straight into a Kenyan one either. The X300 Pro launched here at KES 169,999, below the EUR 1,399 it cost in Europe, and Avechi sells it now for about KES 149,000. Until the X500 phones arrive, the X300 Pro is vivo Kenya’s flagship.
