Everything about the TECNO Camon 11 and TECNO Camon 11 Pro

At the begining of the year we saw TECNO launch the Camon CM, then came the Camon X and Camon X Pro. In the coming days, we are expecting to see TECNO’s new Camons. Dubbed the Camon 11 and the Camon 11 Pro, TECNO is bringing notches to their African smartphone line up.

Whichever of these TECNO is bringing to Kenya doesn’t matter. What matters is the specs vs the asking pricing. Many companies have been serious with their products this year, and no one wants to be left behind.

I’ve highlighted the differences between the two phones in a different colour.

Pre-order yours:

TECNO has opened pre-orders for both devices. The Camon 11 is available to pre-order with just Ksh. 1000 bob where you automatically get Ksh. 2000 off when device becomes available. For the Camon 11 Pro, you can pay Ksh. 4,000 as pre-order and get a free gift hamper worth up to Ksh. 10,000. It would be nice to know the official prices before knowing whether or not to pre-order either. Hopefully TECNO will announce the pricing details soon. (This post will be updated to include that).

You should be able to “pre-order from Telkom Kenya shops and various TECNO Shops” as per TECNO’s Facebook page.

What are your thoughts on the Camon 11 and Camon 11 Pro. Personally, I like the design. I would especially want to check out the Nebula Blue coloured version that will be exclusive for the TECNO Camon 11 Pro.

Also, how much are you willing to spend for either of the two? For me, anything between 15k and 22k is okay pricing. What do you think?

  1. Tecno has a good touch with the design, when you look at it’s devices since the the Camon CM. But they till have a challenge with the chip-sets and Android updates. Generally, I have discovered that Tecno is having a bright future….
With the Camon 11 and 11 Pro, I don’t think I will rush to place my pre-order untill the device is out, as I saw the teaser, Camon X and X – Pro still has a lot better features, strength and superiority over the 11 model. For those who rush with hitching fingers to hold new designs, you will have a good feel with the Camon 11, and I think the introduction of the notch is a good idea though I think Tecno rushed due to pressure and competition from other manufacturers. We will wait and see!

  2. Between camon 11 and x pro which one is better and has better value for money and am all about software camera and ram rom? Please advice

    • Between the 11Pro and the XPro I would go with the XPro mainly because, ONE I dislike notches and TWO the fact it has a 1080p display compared to the 11Pro’s as currently stated 720p display. But this is open to change once I interact with the 11Pro.
