itel Kenya begins a new era with new product lineup

The race by brands is on. Everyone wants to be part of your life in some way. From your phone to your TV, to your health, to your kitchen. itel, a company that has been serving the Kenyan market for the last 10 years, is gearing up to officially revamp their brand presence, name, and product line up. This will be their biggest undertaking ever in getting their name out there.

The grand launch is set for 18th of September 2020. And it will be live not only on the company’s Facebook Page, but also on National Broadcaster KTN. There will also be a rerun on 19th September on NTV. This is in a move to reach as many Kenyans as possible, and to make it known that they’re a brand to be looked up to and trusted.

According to teasers on the company’s Facebook page, the company will be during this period unveiling a couple of stuff:

Infinix NOTE 40 Series Kenya
  1. Their latest smartphones – including the itel S16
  2. Home Appliances – may include their TV series, and others
  3. and Wearable devices

itel S16:

itel hasn’t shared a lot on the devices that will be launched. However, they’ve teased specifications of the new itel S16 saying it could come equipped with a large HD+ screen, with narrow bezels. There will also be an upgraded version – probably a plus or Pro model – featuring a cut-out selfie camera, a feature not yet seen within itel’s price-range.

The devices will feature triple rear cameras, with new hardware upgrades from the previous quite popular itel S15 series which brought 16MP selfie camera lenses. itel says the software has also been improved to give users a new and exciting experience.

New Ambition:

itel says the brand launch brings about new ambition. They’re moving from being just the small sibling company to TECNO and Infinix that could only be accessed offline, through retail shops. Now they will be spreading their network online so that customers will going forward be able to buy all their products – Phones, TVs, and wearables – online through Jumia, Kilimall, and XPark.

Let’s wait and see the new products that itel will be bringing. Make sure you stay tuned for the reviews here.
