realme C15 with 6000mAh battery officially launched in Kenya

The realme C15 has today been officially launched in the Kenyan market. The recommended retail price is set at KES. 16,999. The main features realme is pushing at this price point are:

• The huge 6000mAh battery
• 18W Fast Charging
• The Quad Camera setup, with AI.
• The Helio G35 Processor

The huge battery with fast charging will be a major feature for people getting the device. realme says the phone will not only charge fast, it will also retain power for a long time. Given it is a HD+ display, with a not so demanding processor, one can expect long hours of use with this phone.

In the camera department, there’s a 13MP quad-camera that the company claims uses AI to bring out every minor detail in an object. We’ve tried out the cameras, and they’re acceptable at this price point. The response is faster than with the Redmi NOTE 9. The details better, and sharper.

For game lovers, realme says the Helio G35 processor included will work well no matter the operation one throws at it. In our testing, we’ve managed to play the usual games, and performance is good. The 4GB of RAM holds up well, and optimisations with realme UI gives one quite the smooth experience when using the device, and switching between apps.

The launch of realme C15 comes barely a month after the company successfully launched a series of smartphones including the realme C3, realme C11, realme 6, and realme band which have been picked well in the Kenyan market.

The company says the realme 6 has already taken over the Kenyan market by storm with Kenyans flooding such online shops as Jumia and Killimall to either purchase or check out the specifications. realme 6 is retailing at KES. 29,999 and every buyer gets a free realme band priced at KES. 2,999.

realme has also announced a partnership with Safaricom to bring their realme C11, and realme C15 devices to Safaricom shops at the end of September.
