Realme Kenya has announced it is set to bring its latest device, the realme 9i to the market later this month. The official dates aren’t yet confirmed, and we’ll update on the same once that’s out. The expected pricing ranges between KES 21,000 and KES 25,000.
This announcement comes at a time when the company is also expected to globally launch the realme 9, realme 9 4G and the realme 9 Pro.
The realme 9i is the newest model in the number series after the realme 8 series. It is one of the first phones in Kenya to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset.
You will have the option of either 4GB RAM or 6GB RAM with 64GB or 128GB storage.
For the cameras, at the back there’s a triple set with a 50MP main shooter and macro plus depth sensors. The selfie camera is 16MP.
The 6.6 inch display refreshes at 90Hz and is protected using Dragontrail Pro glass. The phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery which supports 33W fast charging.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, one of the first in the country. And comes with either 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of internal storage space. The phone has a high-quality triple camera, a massive 6.6-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and is equipped with a battery of 5,000 mAh that supports 33W fast charging.
The phone comes running Android 11 out of the box. Hopefully the company ships Android 12 as soon as it is available in the market.
