The realme C55 is the first product to feature the strategic upgrades announced earlier this month. The phone breaks the price barrier by offering the only 64MP camera in the segment, along with an 8MP selfie camera and a 2MP B&W lens. The C55 features a flagship OV64B sensor with 0.7μm pixel size and 1/2″ optical format, the same sensor used in the realme GT Master Edition. Compared to its predecessor C35, the C55 has a 54% increase in sensor size and a 53.8% improvement in clarity and resolution. The phone also comes with innovative image modes and filters for a better camera experience.

In addition, the realme C55 has up to 16GB of dynamic RAM and 256GB of Storage, which is the largest storage in the segment, and supports up to 1TB of memory expansion. The phone also features the fastest 33W SUPERVOOC charge in the segment, which can charge to 100% in just 63 minutes. The C55 also boasts a massive 5000mAh battery, providing a worry-free charging experience.

Design of the realme C55:

The realme C55 is masterfully crafted with the Sunshower design, inspired by natural elements and available in two colors: Sunshower and Rainy Night. The phone features a right-angle bezel and the thinnest 7.89mm body in the segment, enabling a comfortable grip and in-hand feeling. The C55 also has a 6.72-inch full screen with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, resulting in a more comfortable visual experience.

It can display various colors of its dynamic light in three battery statuses: Fully charged, Charging, and Low battery in green, blue, and red, respectively. Users can later experience two more functional scenarios of Data usage and Steps stats that require OTA to be realized. With Mini Capsule, users can get notifications for a better daily convenience.

The realme C55 is equipped with four segment-first technologies and an all-round experience, meeting the diverse needs of users. It comes with realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 out of the box, a fast-side fingerprint sensor, and a multifunctional NFC with 360° free swipe, providing fans with a long-term user experience and reliable quality. The realme C55 is available at a decent price starting at a RRP of Ksh 24,899 for the 8 + 256GB variant.
