
Visa has announced the launch of its Sheโs Next Grant Competition in Kenya. This initiative invites women business owners across the country to apply for grants, tailored training programs, and access to networking and mentoring opportunities. The application window is open until June 12th, offering a unique chance for female entrepreneurs to receive substantial support for their businesses.
Sheโs Next is Visaโs global advocacy program dedicated to supporting women-owned small businesses. Through funding, training, and mentorship, the program aims to create an inclusive and equitable environment where women entrepreneurs can thrive. This initiative is part of Visaโs broader mission to foster economic growth and societal progress by empowering women in business.
Women entrepreneurs from all industries and sectors are encouraged to apply for the Sheโs Next Grant Competition. Successful applicants will have the chance to receive grants of up to KES 2.5 million. In addition to the financial support, top applicants will benefit from training and capacity-building sessions provided by Visa and its partners. These sessions are designed to equip women with the skills and knowledge needed to grow and sustain their businesses.

Since its inception in 2020, the Sheโs Next program has made significant strides globally. Visa has invested over $3 million in more than 250 grants and coaching sessions for women entrepreneurs across various countries, including the US, Canada, India, Ireland, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, and Morocco. The programโs expansion into Kenya marks another milestone in Visaโs commitment to supporting women in business worldwide.
How to Apply for Visa Sheโs Next program:
Women business owners interested in participating in the Sheโs Next Grant Competition must submit a short application form via Sheโs Next Kenya website. The application should include details about their business and how the grant would support their growth. The deadline for applications is June 12th, and the winners will be announced in July.
