Savanna Fibre is continuing its expansion in Kenya’s competitive internet market, this time with a new range of dedicated fibre packages designed specifically for business. The internet service provider has officially unveiled four new Savanna Fibre Business plans aimed at offices, SMEs and growing enterprises that need reliable connectivity for day-to-day operations.
Unlike the company’s residential packages, the new business offerings promise dedicated internet speeds, alongside free installation and a complimentary Wi-Fi router.
The new Savanna Fibre Business packages
Businesses can now choose from four different plans depending on their connectivity requirements:
| Package | Speed | Monthly Price |
|---|---|---|
| Chui Biz | 20Mbps | KES 5,999 |
| Kifaru Biz | 40Mbps | KES 8,999 |
| Ndovu Biz | 100Mbps | KES 14,999 |
| Simba Biz | 150Mbps | KES 24,999 |
Every package includes:
- Free installation
- Free Wi-Fi router
- Dedicated internet speeds
The emphasis on dedicated bandwidth suggests these plans are intended for businesses that require more consistent performance than a typical shared residential connection, particularly for activities such as cloud applications, video conferencing, payment systems, and supporting multiple employees online simultaneously.

While the launch broadens Savanna Fibre’s product portfolio, one detail immediately stands out. The business packages actually advertise lower maximum speeds than the company’s residential fibre plans. Earlier this year, Savanna Fibre unveiled its home internet offerings with considerably faster speed tiers at various price points, making the difference between its consumer and business products particularly noticeable.
At first glance, that may seem unusual. However, raw speed isn’t always the primary selling point for business internet.
Dedicated business connections often prioritize:
- Guaranteed bandwidth
- More consistent network performance
- Higher reliability during peak hours
- Better support for multiple concurrent users
- Improved service guarantees
In other words, a business paying for a dedicated 100Mbps connection may experience more consistent real-world performance than a home user on a faster shared package, depending on how the network is provisioned. Whether these new plans ultimately deliver on that promise is something we’ll only know after businesses begin using them in real-world environments.
The launch is the latest step in Savanna Fibre’s broader expansion strategy. In recent months, the provider has been steadily increasing its presence across Kenya, adding more locations to its network as it seeks to compete with more established fibre providers.
These developments paint a picture of a provider that’s rapidly evolving from a residential-focused ISP into a broader connectivity brand serving both consumers and businesses.
Is the pricing competitive?
Savanna Fibre is entering a business internet segment that already includes offerings from providers such as Safaricom, Faiba, Zuku Business and other enterprise-focused ISPs. Its entry-level Chui Biz package starts at KES 5,999 for 20Mbps, while the flagship Simba Biz plan tops out at 150Mbps for KES 24,999 per month.

Whether those prices represent good value will largely depend on factors beyond headline speeds, including:
- Network uptime
- Service level commitments
- Customer support
- Installation turnaround times
- Latency
- Reliability under heavy workloads
These are often the factors businesses care about most when choosing an internet provider. With the launch of its Business Fibre lineup, Savanna Fibre is signalling that it wants to compete on that front as well.
