Apple has added Apple TV and Apple Arcade to every paid iCloud+ plan in more than 100 countries, at no extra cost. The cheapest plan, 50GB of storage for $0.99 a month (about KES 128), now includes both. Apple announced the change on 15 September 2026 and says it will reach every participating country by the end of September.
The offer does not cover Apple’s largest markets. The United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and other European countries are excluded. Apple TV costs $12.99 a month on its own in the US. Countries Apple has named as part of the rollout include India, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, Mozambique and Kenya.
What iCloud+ now includes
iCloud+ is Apple’s paid cloud storage subscription. Before this change, it added storage, iCloud Private Relay, Hide My Email and custom email domains to an Apple account. It now also carries:
- Apple TV, Apple’s streaming service, formerly called Apple TV+
- Apple Arcade, a games catalogue of more than 200 titles with no ads or in-app purchases
- Apple Music Select, a set of ad-free radio stations programmed by Apple Music
- A discounted rate for full Apple Music, which is $2.79 a month for individuals and $4.49 for families in Mozambique, and INR 115 and INR 145 in India
Every paid tier can be shared with up to five other people through Family Sharing, so one $0.99 plan can give six people Apple TV and Apple Arcade.
Apple says its original films, series and documentaries have won more than 900 awards and received more than 3,800 nominations since the service launched in November 2019. The catalogue includes the Emmy-winning series Ted Lasso, Severance and The Studio, the drama Pluribus, the Best Picture winner CODA, and the film F1.
Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services and Health, said in the announcement: “We’re excited to bring Apple TV and Apple Arcade to iCloud+ users in over 100 countries in one convenient subscription.”
Apple TV reaches 59 new countries
For many of these markets, the bundle is the first time Apple TV has been available at all. The rollout adds 59 countries to the service, taking Apple TV to 170 countries. Kenya is one of them, as we covered when the change was announced.
Apple is also changing how it sells these services in the participating countries. Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be sold as standalone subscriptions there. Anyone paying for either directly through Apple is moved onto iCloud+, their old subscription is cancelled, and Arcade game progress carries over. Apple One, the bundle that adds Apple Music and other services, is closed to new subscribers in these countries. Existing Apple One customers keep their plans.
What the bundle does not include
The Apple TV in this bundle is the Apple Originals service. Apple says content availability varies by country and region.
Formula 1 coverage on Apple TV is limited to the United States under Apple’s five-year deal with the sport, so viewers in the bundle countries do not get races through Apple. Apple’s Apple TV page also says an Apple TV subscription does not include third-party channels, or films and shows sold or rented in the Apple TV app. Those are still paid for separately.
Major League Soccer matches are included in the standard Apple TV subscription from the 2026 season. Apple’s iCloud+ announcement does not say whether bundle subscribers get MLS. From our access, we don’t have MLS.
Storage, TV and AI on one bill
iCloud+ is also tied to Apple Intelligence. In iOS 27, Apple puts daily usage limits on some Apple Intelligence features that run on its servers, such as image generation. Apple says most iCloud+ plans raise those limits. It has not said whether the $0.99, 50GB plan is one of them.
That leaves iCloud+ as the single subscription Apple is using in these countries for storage, video, games, radio and higher AI allowances.
To check whether an account has switched over, open Settings on an iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then iCloud+. Apple TV and Apple Arcade appear there once the rollout reaches that account’s country, which Apple says will happen by 30 September.
