Which points to an increasing love by Kenyans for their own content. The top music video this year is Otile Brown’s Dusuma ft. Rwanda’s Meddy. Out of the top 10 music videos, 6 videos are by Kenyan artistes, 3 other videos are from Tanzania’s Wasafi Records, and only one is from a US artist.
In the non-music category, Size 8 and DJ’s Mo video tops the list. Flaqo comes in second with his comedy skit. Out of the 10 videos, 7 are Kenyan content, 2 are from Nigerian sensation Emmanuela, and 1 is a viral Swahili video.
