Nokia X10 now available for KES 35,000; No charger included

HMD Global has introduced its latest phone in the market. This is the Nokia X10 which the company says will be available in two different storage variants: 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.

Pricing starts at KES 35,000. Which means you’re getting 64GB storage at a whopping price of 35k! But there’s 5G. So, that’s good, yeah…?

The phone is available through Safaricom shops, Mobile Hub, Anisuma and Jumia Online shop. You can pick it up in either Forest or Snow, the official colour names for the device.

HMD says the all-new X-series is at the top-end of their range of devices, and pushes the boundaries of what the industry can offer with great reliability and durability promises, quality and refinement. The company points to their signature Android promise assuring buyers of three years of monthly security updates and three of OS upgrades. You also get a 100% compostable case. But there’s no charger in the box.

Of the phone supporting 5G, HMD Global boasts that Nokia X10 offers their most accessible superfast 5G – up to 20 times faster than the average 4G speed – for file sharing.

Currently only Safaricom has open 5G trials in the country. In Nairobi, you can test Safaricom 5G around the Two Rivers Mall area.
