Huawei Nova 5T with 4 Back Cameras Launching in Kenya Soon

Last year, we had an exclusive on this site that Huawei was bringing two new phones: the New Edition P30 Lite, and a device from the Nova Series. The New Edition P30 Lite already launched. And now we have news that Huawei is bringing the Nova 5T to Kenya.

With the Huawei Ban still in place, we are yet to see any really new devices from Huawei. All the new devices we see from them are refreshes, or devices that were yet to be available in the market. A few weeks ago they launched a Huawei Y9s which we established is basically the Y9 2019 re-imagined.

The Nova 5T was first announced in August of 2019. It is among the upper-midrange smartphones from the company, and it packs a very able and powerful Kirin 980 chipset.

I believe Huawei is bringing this in to compete with devices from Samsung, especially the Galaxy A51, and from OPPO, Vivo and Xiaomi who all happen to have devices around this price range.

The Nova 5T launched with Android 9 Pie, but since it’s already marked as one of the devices getting Android 10, it won’t feel out of place. But if you love your headphone jack, remember this one doesn’t have one. Good thing is there’s Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD, so buy yourselves some good wireless buds.

Here are the full specifications of the Nova 5T. Will update price once device is officially launched.
