The realme 7i is coming to Kenya this November

Update: realme 7i Review:

A couple of weeks ago, realme globally announced the realme 7 series. The main devices that got all the hype were the realme 7 and the realme 7 pro. However, also joining the series was a weird addition: the realme 7i. I call it weird because of a couple of reasons:

  1. It has a Snapdragon processor, something not many devices have at its price point.
  2. It has a 90Hz display something not many devices – especially devices with HD displays – don’t have.
  3. It also has a USB Type-C port, and UFS 2.1 storage.

We expect that the device will launch for less than KES. 20,000 given the conversion rate from the Indian pricing of ₹ 11,999. That means this will be one of the best offerings in the market for less than 20k. Remember this is assuming taxes and other logistical costs.

realme Kenya says the device is coming in in the wake of the festive season. The official launch locally, they say, will take place on November 10th at 11 am, so presumably, this will be a live stream as we saw with the realme 6.

The realme 7 will be joining the now growing lineup of offerings from the company including the realme C11, C3, C15, and the realme 6.

The company says that four major features will define the new realme 7i:

  • The camera
  • The RAM
  • The battery and
  • The storage. All at an affordable price.

The phone is equipped with what realme claims is a massive and high-definition AI 64MP camera. It also features a 5000mAh battery with 18W quick charge and a super power-saving feature to lengthen use during needed periods. It also comes with a storage capacity of 128GB. Here are the full specs:
